EDIT: Well, I just came back from vacation and found out that the label on the stock photography information pop up has been changed, so my gallery is back up!

Well, I'm following the movement... I'm going on stock strike. Not that I submit a lot of stock images these days, and it certainly isn't as if a lot of people use my stock, but it's the principle of the thing... If I haven't sold of given away rights to my photos, they shouldn't be put into the public domain without my consent...

It has been brought to my attention that D.A. refers to Stock Photography as public domain

public domain
–noun Law.
1. the status of a literary work or an invention whose copyright or patent has expired or that never had such protection.
2. land owned by the government.

The stock provided by myself and ALL the stock artist is NOT public domain and as such this is something that needs to be addressed. So until the statement in the 'i' drop down box here - [link] is changed to be either the same as the resources one or has the "public domain" statement removed I've taken down all my stock and won't be posting any new stuff.

Stock is part of the resources gallery, therefore they should have the same or similar information statement.

If you wanna see the stock back, then have a word with the GD's and make a point that its ONE sentence in the gallery description that needs changing.

This is my stock account. I wanted to help with stocks and such, but my regular account's gallery is already getting big, so I didn't want to add everything there. Hence why I created this account, just for stock art stuff. It'll take me a while to fill this account, as I won't have a lot of time for it, but I will add stuff to it as regularly as possible.

Here are some rules I hope you folks will follow:

1- My stock shots can be used freely by deviants on deviantArt, but not outside. I may make exceptions provided the reason is good however, so you may note me with any requests you may have.

2- If you do use my stocks, please link to my original deviation and send me a little message to this journal or a note - for courtesy's sake - so I may see what you've done with it. It ought to be neat to see what those shots turned into.

4- I will deviations using my stocks and I reserve this account's Favourites particularly for that. But I can only do so if you let me know you've used my stocks... I'm not a mind reader.

3- If you see anything in my main account's gallery that you think you may like to use as stock as well, please send that account a note with the link of the deviation and I'll get back to you.

I apologize for the low quality of some of these images. Some were older shots that I had taken with an analog camera and had to scan on my computer with my printer... unfortunately, my printer isn't a very professionnal one and I can't get the shots any better.
